What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way. They help a site remember your choices and understand how it is used.
What we use
We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies on this website. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
- Strictly necessary storage: your cookie choice is saved in your browser's local storage so we do not ask you again. This does not identify you.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4, set by Google): names such as _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier, which usually last up to 2 years. They tell us which pages are visited and how people reach the site. We set them only if you accept.
Other third-party requests
To display the site, your browser requests fonts from Google Fonts and Fontshare, a logo image from Wikimedia, and, on the Contact page, an embedded Google Map. These providers receive your IP address and technical details as part of the request. They may set their own cookies, which we do not control. Please read their policies.
How your choice works
When you first visit, a banner asks you to accept or decline analytics. Analytics storage is off by default. If you decline, only the strictly necessary storage above is used. Google tags may still receive limited signals that do not use cookies and do not identify you, such as that a page was loaded.
You can change your mind at any time by choosing "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Controlling cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking all cookies may affect some features of other websites. You can also install Google's opt-out add-on for analytics.
